Can you change out a non-tilt steering wheel with a tilting one?

and is that expensive? I have a 1996 Nissan pickup and I need more room for my gut- is it expensive to change out the steering wheel?

Buy two shear off bolts to exchange your lock assembly to the tilt column. Also try to get the plastic parts around the steering wheel. Tilt should also work with manual steering. Or just Exercise More|||You have to buy a whole steering column. If they make tilt ones for that vehicle, then you should be able to switch it. You might get a good deal on one at a junk yard.|||Sorry but I dont think any of the 90%26#039;s hardbody pickups had tilt steering wheels.
