Changing a Steering Wheel (Vauxhall Corsa B)?

I was just wondering, is it possible to change a steering wheel on my corsa B? its a W reg (2000), and it currently doesnt have an airbag, i would ideally like to put one in that does have an airbag. Preferably from a newer corsa.

Is is difficult?

I%26#039;d appreciate any answers as i am not very good with cars!

Thanks :)|||undo the nut|||i think that it would be very simple to remove the wheel, just make sure that you have the wheels dead straight first or when it goes back it will be out of alignment. You cannot fit one with an airbag unless you already have the electrical connections fitted to the car. There are risks also when connecting the wiring to these things as they can go of!

My advice would be to leave as is!!|||I would say don%26#039;t do it, it is not only a matter of removing the steering wheel, ( of which you will need a steering wheel puller) you will need to install wiring in to the car up in to the steering column then you have got to put the wiring in for the sensers in the bumpers of your car this will cost too much money and be to dangerous as well to even think about .|||Forget it save up to buy yourself a newer car, a Corsa of that age won%26#039;t have the wiring and it definitely won%26#039;t have the sensors fitted at the front of the car which tells the airbag exactly when to deploy, also the steering wheel contains a small explosive charge which should only be handled by an expert.
