What changes the steering wheel on a Porsche?

I mean-the 911%26#039;s, caymans and boxsters have a triangular steering wheel and a round steering wheel. I%26#039;m talking about the 2005 models (updated interior). Does it change with like a sport package or different transmission? Or what?|||I believe you%26#039;re talking about the hub of the wheel; all handling portions of all the steering wheels I%26#039;ve seen are round. My 2005 Porsche Turbo S (a 996 body car) has a %26quot;triangular%26quot; hub to the wheel. All of the 2005 911s I%26#039;ve seen with a round (and chrome edged) center to the hub are Carrera and Carrera S models (997 body cars). Porsche built both the 996 cars (Turbo, Turbo S, and Carrera 4S models) and the 997 cars (Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4, etc.) in 2005.

Beginning in 2006 only the 997 body cars were built, and the 996 body form was retired.
