i have a 1976 dodge pick up. and trying to change the key ignition, but cant figure how to get the cover of to get behind the ignition. the key is on the steering wheel. i took the horn cover off. , i thought there would be crews or a bolt, but found nothing, please help. thank you
How do you get the cover off of the steering wheel to get to the ignition?
Stop by a local library and look through their Chilton's repair
books in the automotive area. Look behind the steering wheel
for additional mounting screws. There will be one large nut
below that horn, it's just a matter of how you get to it. You will
also need a steering wheel puller.
But before you attempt this repair, be sure this is the proper
procedure for what you are about to undertake.

aint so easy //the steering wheel has to come off//take nut off and install steering wheel puller and pull wheel off and proceed from there
