i got a new steering wheel pump
i did installed it and it does not work what i have to do in order to move the steering wheel?
it does not move to the left it moves just a little bit to the right
some help please
it is a 97 buick with 160,000 miles

you need to add power steering fluid to it and then repeatedly turn the wheel left%26amp;right while the car is running. go back and ck/fill the resivoir again and repeat turning again, this gets the fluid circulating and the air out !

Add fluid.
Bleed the system
to bleed, you need to fill the reservoir
Start the engine
move the steering wheel back and forth many many times
refill reservoir
Go back to the post you made 11 minutes earlier and look at the superb answer that guess78624 gave. Then pick it as best answer, do what he said, and quit spamming the board.
