steering wheel vibration ,no change even after new tires, rotation, alighnment, new brake rotors, pads, re-balancing,borrowing wheels off another taurus the vibration is still there ,thru all changes it changes the MPH that it happens but is always there.
2001 taurus steering wheel vibration?
it is caused by the rack and pinion and lack of power steering maintenance. seriously power steering maintenance is very important especially on fords the system needs to be flushed at least every 30,000 miles to keep it well lubricated.

could be the uv joints
Worn CV and/or Tulip joint, but first check the wheel/spindle bearing for play or roaring noise
Maybe you need loose the bolts from motor mounts and transmission mount, start the engine change gears and tight again, have a nice day.
probably a busted motor or transmission mount, maybe the steering box itself. good luck
