Yeah I agree with crazybob, do not try this at home!

Get it wrong and you'll blow the bags while installing them. There's a technique to it and I dont think YA allows enough characters to explain it fully.

The best way is to use the peugeot computer - deactivate the SRS airbag system, change the bag, reactivate and self test (which extinguishes the dash light).

To remove the steering wheel bag its two torq's, accessible from the rear of the steering wheel and a plug underneath the bag when you lift it out of position.

Haven't changed the dash on a 207 but the procedure will be the same as for any other pug, take out the clocks, switches, radio, glovebox, cowlings - basically disconnect and remove every possible item - then start looking for the dash screws. There'll be 2 on each end, that's a given, but the rest will be scattered irregularly along the bulkhead.

You can totally rebuild the dash and steering wheel without connecting the air bags (excluding glovebox and steering column cowlings - you need to leave access to the air bag plugs and steering wheel airbag bolts) and just let peugeot do the last bit for you, or better still, find a peugeot mechanic who can set them for you as a %26quot;homer%26quot; and save yourself 拢180 (3 hours labour)

Go to the dealership - read the manual - better yet get copies of the pages detailing the procedure.

Do not try this without the factory instructions and a pretty good mechanical background and experience.
