Do you need to pull the steering wheel to change the ignition switch in 98 nissan frontier?

I do not pull the steering wheel there are break off bolts that hold the ignition steering coloum lock. make sure you use a sharp punch to rotate those bolts. And buy two new bolts when tightening make sure the steering locks then tighten till those bolts break off.
